A poacher has been killed at the Bagori range of the Kaziranga National Park. The incident happened on Monday late evening when a gunfire was exchanged between the forest guards and the poachers.
The gunfire resulted in the death of one poacher, while the others managed to escape. One rhino horn has been recovered from the slain poacher fuelling suspicion that the poachers gang might have killed a rhino most recently within the park.
