On the occasion of Subhas Chandra Bose’s 122nd birth anniversary, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday inaugurated the Subhas Chandra Bose museum at Red Fort, New Delhi.

The PM also unveiled two new museums inside the Red Fort compound, Yaad-e-Jallian Museum, (museum on the Jallianwala Bagh and World War I), the Museum on 1857- India’s first war of Independence, and Drishyakala-Museum on Indian Art.

The Museum on Netaji provides a detailed account of Bose and the history of Indian National Army. It also showcases various artefacts related to Subhash Chandra Bose and other items related to the Indian National Army.
