PM Modi arrives in Kokrajhar, to address rally shortly

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Kokrajhar to address a mega rally celebrating the historic Bodo Peace Accord.

Prime Minister was given a grand welcome by thousands of Bodo young boys and girls with their traditional dances and songs.

He is being accompanied by Assam governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal and finance minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Modi arrived  at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati at 11.33 AM in a special aircraft of Indian Air Force.

He was flown to Kokrajhar in a helicopter from LGBI airport, Borjhar.

The Prime Minister was received by Assam governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal, finance minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, state BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass and several ministers at the airport.
