Former People’s Democratic Front chief, PN Syiem has joined the Nationalist People’s Party (NPP) ahead of the Feb 27 Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council polls.
According to top sources, Syiem is planning to contest the KHADC election from Mawkhar-Pynthorumkhrah constituency.
Earlier, Syiem had quit the party after being allegedly sidelined by fellow party leaders.
