Two day-long Orange festival begins today at Rusomavillage, under Kohima district of Nagaland.
The festival is being organised by Rusoma village, an Angami village is known for very sweet oranges and the best variety of local sugarcane.

Local products besides oranges, orange saplings, local delicacies and eatables are all on sale at the festival.
Notably, the Rusoma village area has some of the largest orange plantations in the district.
The village is a tourist spot for being the village of Sopfiinuo, the Angami woman of the legendary folktale, who turned into a stone along with her infant child; which still lies at the entrance of the village ground.
