Four Peruvian police officers dressed as ‘Avengers’ figures burst into a residence in Peru on Halloween after being warned off about the presence of narcotics dealers. According to the news agency AFP, the officers disguised as Spider-Man, Captain America, Thor, and Black Widow and mingled in with trick-or-treaters during Halloween celebrations to conduct the major narcotics bust.
The operation took place on the streets of San Juan de Lurigancho, one of Lima’s most dangerous neighbourhoods.
The four “superheroes” were members of a special police team who pretended to be promoting a Halloween performance, according to a police statement released on Tuesday.

When the four friends arrived at the house, they drew out special equipment and broke down a steel door, allowing ten additional police officers to enter and arrest three males and a woman.
According to the cops, the drug dealers were initially astonished and thought it was a Halloween joke.
The residence was confiscated with 3,250 little packets of basic cocaine paste, 287 bags of cocaine, and 127 packets of marijuana. In Peru, one kg of cocaine paste costs around $380 (Rs 31,382), whereas a kg of cocaine hydrochloride, the purest form, costs around $1,000. (Rs 82,585).
The operation was named ‘Marvel’. Three men and a woman were arrested by the police department.
