Another arrest has been made by the police in connection with the horrific Dokmoka lynching case. The arrested person has been identified as Wares Rongpi.

This latest arrest takes the total tally of arrested persons regarding the case to a total of 47 currently.

It is to be mentioned that the brutal mob lynching incident, which took place on June 8 saw two Guwahati youths, Abhijit and Nilotpal, being thrashed to death by a blood thirsty mob over suspicions of being child lifters.
