A jawan of the 31 Assam Rifles was left dead and three other left injured after a bomb attack on a convoy by the People’s Liberation Army militant outfit took place in Manipur.

The incident happened at the KT Centre near Kangpat village in Kamjong district. The blast was triggered by an IED.

The injured jawans have been rushed to hospital for treatment. Senior police and paramilitary troops rushed to the spot of incident to investigate.
