On stage, Shah Rukh gets wife Gauri’s age wrong. Here is what she said and how SRK reacted

We can never get enough of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan! They are one of the most loved couples in the tinsel town who often shell out major relationship goals. At the launch of Gauri’s coffee table book, My Life In Design, in Mumbai’s Bandra on May 15, SRK took to the stage to give a heartwarming speech. But, what grabbed our attention was that Shah Rukh Khan forgot his wife’s age while speaking! Gauri had to correct him.

SRK FORGETS GAURI’S AGE AT BOOK LAUNCH

Shah Rukh Khan, at the launch of Gauri Khan’s coffee table book, My Life In Design, forgot her age and got corrected by her on stage. He talked about the book and said, “This book states that anyone can start achieving their dream at any age, just like Gauri did in mid-40s.” Gauri soon corrected him and SRK then said, “She is 37 now. In our family we age backwards.”

SRK also talked about the creativity Gauri always had and said, “She always had a sense of passion and creativity. In 24 years of our married life, we were busy settling down in Mumbai, leading a normal life and bringing up our children that she never realised but it was an aspect of hers to give vent to it (creativity.’.”

The launch of Gauri Khan’s latest book, My Life In Design, took place in Mumbai on May 15. In her coffee table book published by Penguin Random House, she charts out her journey as a designer with exclusive pictures of her and her family – Shah Rukh, Aryan, Suhana and Abram.
