Patanjali’s resolve is to make the Swadeshi movement so powerful that India can break free from economic exploitation, slavery, and poverty.

Haridwar, Jan 6: Patanjali celebrated its 30th foundation day at the the Yoga Bhavan auditorium at Patanjali Wellness, Haridwar, in the presence of Patanjali Yogpeeth’s head, Swami Ramdev, and General Secretary Acharya Balkrishna.

The event was attended by over 6,000 coordinators from Patanjali Yogpeeth across the country. During the occasion, Swami Ramdev spoke about Patanjali’s journey over the past 30 years, highlighting its service, struggle, and dedication.

He also shared the future plans of the organization.

After the success of the Yoga Revolution, Swami Ramdev called for five major revolutions, stating that Patanjali’s mission is to begin work on liberating the nation from challenges in education, healthcare, economy, ideological and cultural barriers, and freedom from diseases, addictions, and mental sufferings.

First Revolution: Freedom in Education

Swami Ramdev expressed concern over the state of education in India, where 50% to 90%, and in some places up to 99%, of educated youth are unemployed, addicted, and lack character, leading to demoralized and directionless children. He stressed that Patanjali has decided to lead the launch of a new education system first in India, and then globally, with India taking the lead. Patanjali Gurukulum, Acharyakulam, Patanjali University, and the Indian Education Board will now set new standards in education.

Patanjali’s commitment is to connect 5 lakh schools to the Indian Education Board within the next five years, heralding a revolutionary change in education.

Swami Ramdev emphasized that the education system should not just focus on teaching words but also provide knowledge in various subjects, self-awareness, an understanding of the true values of India, and pride in the country’s glorious heritage. Patanjali will incorporate knowledge from across the world in Hindi, English, and Sanskrit, but 80% of the content will focus on the Vedas, philosophy, Upanishads, Puranas, and the glory of India. This system will not follow Macaulay’s model of education.

The plan is to initially connect 1 lakh schools to the Indian Education Board and later expand to 5 lakh schools, bringing a new wave of educational transformation.

When 1 Lakh Schools Affiliate with the Indian Education Board, and 5 Lakh Schools Follow, India’s Childhood and Youth Will Be Secured – This is the Commitment for Freedom in Education

Swami Ramdev shared that once 1 lakh schools are affiliated with the Indian Education Board, followed by 5 lakh more, India’s future generations—its children and youth—will be secure. This is the pledge for freedom in education. Through the Indian Education Board, Patanjali will teach the true history of India’s heroes, not the distorted narratives about foreign invaders, Akbar, Aurangzeb, or the British. Instead, the focus will be on the valorous history of great leaders like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Maharana Pratap, and India’s freedom fighters.

Second Revolution: Freedom In Healthcare

Swami Ramdev emphasized that Yoga is our true nature. He pointed out that people worldwide are damaging their health by consuming synthetic medicines, various steroids, painkillers, and other harmful substances. To bring changes in healthcare, Patanjali is advancing with a holistic approach through Patanjali Wellness, Yoggram, Niramayam, hospitals, and health centers, as well as modern research that integrates the ancient wisdom of the Rishis and modern science.

Patanjali has already published more than 5,000 research protocols and over 500 research papers in world-class international journals, contributing significantly to the fields of healthcare and wellness.

Path to Freedom from Diseases Presented to the World: Patanjali’s Commitment

Patanjali has outlined a clear path to freedom from diseases. Our commitment is to prevent people from becoming ill and, when they do, to free them from diseases through Yoga and Ayurveda.

Third Revolution: Economic Freedom

Swami Ramdev highlighted the issue of the global economic system, where a handful of people have held the entire economy in a tight grip. Patanjali’s goal is to bring prosperity that serves humanity and uses wealth for the greater good.

So far, Patanjali has contributed over ₹1 lakh crore in charity across sectors such as education, health, research, character building, and nation-building. With over 10,000 centers and more than 25 lakh trained yoga instructors, as well as 1 crore selfless volunteers, Patanjali’s efforts have been part of the larger mission of nation-building and character development.

Patanjali’s resolve is to make the Swadeshi movement so powerful that India can break free from economic exploitation, slavery, and poverty. This is the only way India can become truly prosperous. By helping people quit medications for chronic conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid issues, asthma, arthritis, stress, depression, and sleep disorders, we save the country 100 to 200 lakh crore rupees annually.

Fourth Revolution: Intellectual And Cultural Freedom

Swami Ramdev emphasized that India, the land that first shared the message of Sanskrit to the world, should not fall into intellectual and cultural slavery. Unfortunately, today, India remains dependent on impoverished nations that only possess paper currencies or a few dollars and pounds. True wealth does not lie in money alone but in good health, a happy family, strong character, spiritual wealth, and divine blessings.

Our mission is to free India from intellectual and cultural subjugation. Thus, we are committed to promoting Sanatan Dharma, the Vedic way of life, the teachings of Rishis, and the Yogic path as a part of modern times. Over 500 crore people worldwide have embraced Yoga and Sanatan Dharma. If we all unite, we can end religious and political terrorism and the terrorism disguised as education and healthcare that plagues the world.

Fifth Revolution: Freedom From Addiction, Diseases, And Desires

Swami Ramdev discussed the dangerous global issue of addiction. In India, people are sinking into the abyss of addiction, which leads to disease, addiction, and immorality, ruining lives. Patanjali is committed to freedom from diseases, addictions, and immorality.

As Patanjali completes 30 years, our resolve is to make the world Yoga-centered, creating ideal global citizens through character development.

During the event, Acharya Balkrishna stated that the tireless efforts of the revered Swamiji have made Patanjali a source of global inspiration. Patanjali has launched a campaign for the welfare of the world, where material wealth is used for the betterment of others. Patanjali’s 100% profit is dedicated to charity. For Patanjali, India is not just a market—it is a family.

Patanjali has a team of over 500 world-class scientists who continuously conduct research to provide evidence-based remedies for various ailments. These include herbal extracts, syrups, tablets, capsules, wheatgrass, aloe vera juice, amla juice, neem, giloy juice, and other remedies that are rooted in traditional wisdom and scientific research, benefiting the world.

Patanjali was the first to bring India’s ancient knowledge tradition to the masses by integrating it with modern science. Today, Patanjali has successfully spread Yoga to millions of people across 200 countries, taking it from caves and secluded places and making it accessible to the general public worldwide.
