On his 52nd Birthday, Assam’s Heartthrob Zubeen Garg Announces New Film ‘Roi Roi Binale’

Assam’s heartthrob Zubeen Garg is celebrating his 52nd birthday today. Much to the joy of his fans and well-wishers, the singer-actor-film director and producer announced his next film ‘Roi Roi Binale’ on his birthday.

“I want to announce ‘Roi Roi Binale’ officially on this occasion,” Zubeen said as he celebrated his birthday with his die-hard fans last night.

Zubeen cut a cake at his Jonali studio in Guwahati with his close family, friends and a few fans by his side. His fans, who have always been an integral part of his journey, were thrilled to meet him, with many left speechless by his warm, down-to-earth presence.

In his brief address to the crowd, Zubeen thanked everyone for their love and support over the years. “I would like to thank everyone. My love to you all. Everything is going on as usual,” he said, keeping his message simple yet heartfelt.

Zubeen’s last appearance on screen was in the film Sikaar, which was released in September 2024. Directed by Debangkar Borgohain, the film is a thrilling blend of Assamese culture and international intrigue. Zubeen plays the lead role of Sankar, a man caught up in an international conspiracy that begins in Assam’s tea gardens and extends to London. The film also stars Adil Hussain, Urmila Mahanta, and several other talented actors.

Known for his soulful music and powerful screen presence, Zubeen Garg continues to be an influential figure in both Assamese and Bollywood music, delighting fans with his powerful voice and diverse roles. His birthday celebration was a perfect reflection of the love he receives from the people of Assam, as well as his ongoing commitment to both his art and community.

Along with his well-wishers Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma also took his social media platform to wish the singer.

Despite his fame and busy schedule, Zubeen emphasized his dedication to social causes, which has always been a significant part of his life. “I am always busy with social causes, and it would not be anything different today as I will be engaged in some work,” he remarked, highlighting his commitment to giving back to society.

Zubeen’s career is defined by his powerful voice and numerous chart-topping hits. He has also sung several popular songs in Bollywood, including “Ya Ali” from Gangster (2006), which brought him national recognition. Another of his major hits is “Dil Se Re” from the movie Fiza (2000), showcasing his versatility in Hindi music.
