Oil tankers come under attack in Manipur

Unidentified Gunmen opened fire on Oil Tankers along the National Highway 37 or Imphal – Jiribam Road and also assaulted drivers along the Highway. The incident that took place late evening yesterday has prompted the All Manipur Petroleum Products Transporters Association and All Manipur Petroleum Products Drivers Association launched a strike until adequate security is provided to Oil Tankers. The Two Associations have decided to close Oil Depot in Malom and all the Petrol Pumps from Tomorrow until their safety is assured.
