Northeast India Fest 2nd edition to be held in Bangkok

The North East festival will be organized on 30 and 31 July at Centara Grand Hotel and Central World Bangkok.

With an initiative to connect India’s North East to South East Asia, the 2nd edition of the Northeast India festival will be held in Bangkok.

On the 75th year of India-Thailand diplomatic relations, the North East festival will be organized on 30 and 31 July at Centara Grand Hotel and Central World Bangkok.

Around 500 delegates comprising Chief Ministers, Cabinet Ministers, government officials, entrepreneurs, tour operators, scholars, and cultural personalities will be traveling to Bangkok to attend the festival and exhibitions.

The programme includes the interaction of Chief Ministers, top policymakers with top industry houses of Thailand, Royal Thai government.

Special sessions like people-to-people exchange meetings, and business-to-business meetings on trade and tourism will be held.

Large exhibitions of entrepreneurs, exhibitions of cuisines, and showcasing of art and dance forms of Northeast India will be organised.

Top North Eastern bands and Thai rock bands will perform at the festival. This event is considered the largest initiative of India, especially in South East Asia which is expected to create awareness and promote Act East.
