The Naga village in North Sikkim is on high alert since last year’s flood. Severe cracks and erosion of roads in the area have caused significant concerns among the locals.

The Naga village in North Sikkim is on high alert since last year’s flood. Severe cracks and erosion of roads in the area have caused significant concerns among the locals. Evacuation efforts are underway, with residents moving out with their belongings and are settled in other locations. Residents of Naga are fearing that that a kilometer long stretch of ten houses are about to slip down the River Teesta and can block the Teesta and will cause more damage in near future.
