Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Friday made it clear that the frontier state will not part even with an inch of its territory under any circumstances.

Khandu was reacting to reports of NSCN-IM’s demand for integration of Naga contiguous areas as part of the solution to the Naga political issue.

Speaking exclusively to Northeast Live, Khandu said while he welcomes an early solution to the vexed Naga issue, there is no room for parting with Arunachal Pradesh’s land for the purpose.

The Chief Minister also said that there was no major law and order issue in Tirap, Changlang and Longding areas of the state and the district administration and police were capable of handling it.
