NIT Silchar hostel cook assaulted on suspicion of theft

As per reports, around 7 persons manhandled three hostel cooks on suspicions of stealing a mobile phone. An FIR has been filed at Gungoor Outpost late last night against 3 students and 4 security personnel. Among those named in the FIR, one was a security CO.
