NIT Sikkim students agitation demanding permanent campus enters fourth day

The National Institute of Technology Sikkim students have decided to continue with their protest demanding written assurance from the Centre and State government to set up the permanent campus of the institute.

The indefinite hunger strike launched by the students of the premier institution has entered its fourth day today, but neither the centre nor the state government is showing any interest on the issue.

Moreover, the health condition of two students has deteriorated and the overall situation has also become worse. The number of participants has increased from 12 to 25, which includes 4 girl students.
