Next Tripartite Talks Between the Centre, Manipur Govt And UNC Set To Take Place Tomorrow
All decks are cleared for the next tripartite talks that are set to take place on Friday. The next round of tripartite talks are set to take place between the Centre the Manipur government and the United Naga Council. The issue of talks is on the rollback of newly created districts in Manipur. Noteworthy is that the United Naga Council has been demanding for the roll back in the creation of seven new districts in the state. Sources have told Northeast Live that the in Friday’s meeting, the participants from the government side may include AK Mishra, Advisor, Northeast and the Chief Secretary of Manipur.
