The North East Students’ Organization (NESO) on Saturday observed a Black Day across the region in protest against the police firing on unarmed protesters in Tripura on January 8 and blocking of NESO officials to meet the injured persons at Khumlwng Hospital on Friday morning.
The NESO has also condemned the police firing on the protesters at Imphal on Friday where 4 persons were injured while protesting against the contentious Citizenship (Amendment) Bill.
