NEHU Campus Tensions Continues: Students Vow To Stop VC, Registrar, Dy Registrar From Entering Campus

Situation at the North-Eastern Hill University in Shillong turned dramatic today with protesting students stopping Registrar Omkar Singh from staying at his quarters inside the campus. Students have vowed to prevent Vice-Chancellor Prof. P.S. Shukla, the Registrar, and the Deputy Registrar from entering the campus. During a visit to the campus with his wife, Registrar Omkar Singh was reportedly confronted at his official quarters and escorted out of the University permises.
