NCP Leader Baba Siddique Shot Dead in Mumbai, 2 Arrested

Maharashtra is in a state of shock and disbelief following the murder of former Maharashtra minister and a leader of Ajit Pawar’s NCP, Baba Siddique, by three men in Mumbai last evening. The veteran politician was shot in the stomach and chest, and was rushed to the Lilavati Hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Two people have been arrested by the police in connection with the attack: one is from Uttar Pradesh, and the other is from Haryana. One suspect is still at large.
