Northeast Live exclusive ground report shows residents facing acute shortage of food, electricity, and fuel and cooking gas. However, in some respite for the people, electricity has restored in several areas of the district, barring Jatinga and Maibong. BSNL services are aslo expected to be restored by today evening. Additionally, essential items including food and medicines have also been airdropped in the district.
