Arunachal Chief Secy Naresh Kumar transferred to Delhi

In what comes as a major bureaucratic reshuffle, Naresh Kumar, who is currently serving as the chief secretary of Arunachal Pradesh, has been appointed the new chief secretary of Delhi.

In what comes as a major bureaucratic reshuffle, Naresh Kumar, who is currently serving as the chief secretary of Arunachal Pradesh, has been appointed the new chief secretary of Delhi.

The notification to this effect has been issued by the Union home ministry on Tuesday.

The notification stated that Kumar will begin his tenure in Delhi from April 21.

Kumar, a 1987 batch IAS officer, had earlier served as managing director with the Delhi Transport Corporation.

He also held the posts of chairman of the New Delhi Municipal Council in his previous stint in Delhi.
