Nandini Gupta from Rajasthan crowned Femina Miss India 2023

Manipur's Thounaojam Strela Luwang has been crowned 2nd runner-up of the Femina Miss India 2023
Nandini Gupta from Rajasthan has won the title of the Femina Miss India 2023, while Delhi’s Shreya Poonja was declared the 1st runner-up and Manipur’s Thounaojam Strela Luwang has been crowned 2nd runner-up.
The Grand finale of the 59th Femina Miss India was held on Saturday, April 15 at the Indoor Stadium of Khuman Lampak Sports Complex in Imphal.
Manipur CM N Biren Singh congratulated the winners and the contestants of the 59th Femina Miss India and wished good luck in all of their future endeavours.
Nandini was crowned by Femina Miss India 2022 winner Sini Shetty of Karnataka. Nandini will now represent India at Miss World 2024.
19-year-old Nandini hails from Kota in Rajasthan. Nandini hold a degree in Business Management. She is of the opinion that failures are essential in defining one’s identity. She has the courage to face any challenges, disappointments, and rejections that may arise as she embarks on the journey of a lifetime.
21-year-old Thounaojam Strela Luwang is a resident of Uripok Bachas-pati Leikai. She is the sixth of eight siblings.
She started her modelling career at the age of 14, and she had always wanted to participate in the pageant.
The gala event featured a number of rounds of mesmerising fashion sequences that featured the appealing 30-state winners dressed in traditional costumes by Rocky Star and Robert Naorem as well as a breathtaking collection by Namrata Joshipura for Trends.
Renowned designers Rocky Star and Namrata Joshipura, boxing legend Laishram Sarita Devi, master choreographer Terence Lewis, film director and writer Harshavardhan Kulkarni, and Femina Miss India Universe 2002 & Mentor Neha Dhupia served on the jury that evaluated the state winners.
The glitzy coronation night, which honoured the idea of beauty in diversity, included amazing performances by the bollywood actors Kartik Aaryan and the Ananya Panday.
Femina Miss India winner 2022, Sini Shetty and runner-ups- Rubal Shekhawat and Shinata Chauhan, Manasa Varanasi, Manika Sheokand, Manya Singh, Suman Rao, and Shivani Jadhav also gave a breathtaking performance.
The dynamic Manish Paul and Bhumi Pednaker added a fun aspect to the event by keeping the audience entertained with their wit and improvisations.
It may be mentioned here that this is the first time the Femina Miss India Grand Finale was held in the Northeast region.
