Several parts of the state will witness heavy rains and thundershowers for the next 24 hours, according to the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) Home Department.
The NSDMA stated that pre-monsoon rains, after a brief break, are all set to return over Nagaland with a heavy shower. According to NSDMA weather analysis, moderate rains with some heavy spells over many parts of the state are expected.
Moreover, heavy to very heavy rains are likely to lash Nagaland from May 26 onwards. Intensity of rains would be more over Northern parts of the state such as Longleng, Tizit and Mon.
