Nagaland Super League: Sechü Zubza Football Club Unveils Official Kit and Theme Song

The Sechü Zubza Football Club (SZFC) official Kit for the Nagaland Super League (NSL) was launched by Special guest Kovi Meyase.

The Sechü Zubza Football Club (SZFC) official Kit for the Nagaland Super League (NSL) was launched by Special guest Kovi Meyase, Secretary Excise and Prohibition, Government of Nagaland and honoured guest Mhasimhale Mathew Yhome, President Kohima District Football Association today at Spicer Hall, Shalom Bible Seminary, Sechü Zubza.

During the launching Kevisekuo Sechü, Asst Professor, Margaret Shishak school of Music Patkai Christian college (Autonomous) also released the official theme song of the club “The Gayals”.

The SZFC was established in the year 2018, the club focuses on grassroots development and has won multiple trophies while managing a non-residential academy to scout young football talent.

Some of the trophies lifted by the Club are Champions of Kohima Football League 2018, Runners-up of KTC Super Cup 2018, Championships of Classic Cup 2019 (25th edition), Champions of Capt.Kengruse Football Tournament 2024 (Kohima Edition) and Champions of 24th NSF Martyrs Memorial Trophy 2024.

Special guest Kovi Meyase, Secretary Excise and Prohibition, Government of Nagaland in his short speech pointed out that Nagaland Super league is signifying the coming of age of professional Football in Nagaland.

He also said, “sports is now one of the most popular industry and Football in particular is one of the most popular sports.”
He congratulated the SZFC for taking up the challenge to race in the NSL and wished them the best in their future endeavors.
