17 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Nagaland on Wednesday. With this, the state’s total confirmed cases has risen to 347.
The fresh cases were reported from quarantine centres in Kohima and Zunheboto districts 15 and 2 respectively.
Minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom in a tweet wrote, “Out of 448 samples tested, 17 new cases of COVID-19 +ve have been reported. 15 patients from Kohima QC & 2 from Zunheboto QC.”
Meanwhile, 7 more patients have recovered from the disease. Of which 5 are from Dimapur and 2 from Kohima.
The state now has 199 active cases while the number of recovered stands at 148.
