Another person, who returned from Chennai recently has tested positive for COVID-19 in Nagaland, taking the number of active cases in the state to 4.
Contact tracing efforts have been initiated and primary contacts have been identified.
“Another returnee from Chennai has been tested COVID-19 positive at Kohima. With this, we have 4 active cases. Contact tracing is being activated,” Health and Family Welfare Minister S Pangnyu Phom tweeted.
Earlier, three cases of COVID-19 were detected in the state. One from Kohima and 2 others from Dimapur tested positive tested positive for the virus.
Meanwhile, the Nagaland Government has issued fresh Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for all inbound travelers coming to the state.
