The Nagaland Gaon Bura Federation on Friday took out a rally in Kohima demanding a solution to the Naga issue before the ensuing Lok Sabha polls.
The protesters also demanded scrapping of the contentious Citizenship Bill, hundreds marched through the streets of Kohima holding placards.
The protesters also submitted a memorandum to the President and Prime Minister at the Raj Bhavan in Kohima.
Meanwhile, the Nagaland GB Federation has called for a state-wide bandh on February 11.
It may be mentioned that the protests come following a closed door meeting between the Nagaland Gaon Buras and several other tribal organisations where matters on Citizenship Amendment Bill and the Naga Political issue were discussed.
