Yet another attack on Assam Rifles troopers in Nagaland. An Assam Rifles jawan has been injured in two IED blasts at Kipherie in Nagaland today.

An Assam Rifles road opening party which was in the area ahead of a convoy movement was the target of the rebels who carried out the attack.

The insurgents who carried out the IED blasts also fired at the Assam Rifles men during the attack. The identity of the group is yet not known but security sources suspect the involvement of NSCN(K) rebels in the attack.
