‘Naga Solidarity Walk’ kicks off amid deadlocks in peace talks

At a time when the peace talks over the Naga Politcal Issue is witnessing a deadlock, a special solidarity walk kick started this morning at 6 AM, with Nagas rising
At a time when the peace talks over the Naga Politcal Issue is witnessing a deadlock, a special solidarity walk kick started this morning at 6 AM, with Nagas rising up to the occasion and cutting across the borders to join the walk. The walk began from the Lerie junction in Kohima with a prayer under the theme “One People One Destiny”. The solidarity walk is being spearheaded by the Global Naga Forum in collaboration with various Naga civil organizations, including student unions from beyond the borders of Nagaland. From Kohima, the walk will proceed to Angami, Mao, Maram, Poumai, and finally culminate in Senapati on July 29.
