In some big news coming in about the long pending Naga peace issue, talks between the Centre and the NSCN-IM will resume in the first week of October, highly placed sources told Northeast Live.
This has triggered fresh hopes for a solution finally to the Nagaland problem.
The sources said the focus of the talks will be on working out details based on the Framework Agreement. The dialogue this time will look towards the logical conclusion of signing an agreement and its implementation on ground.
The big decision about resumption of the dialogue process comes in the wake of the demand by the Political Affairs Committee of the Nagaland Government for appointment of a new interlocutor who should be a central minister enjoying the confidence of the union government.
