The MPSC Petrol Bomb attack case has been finally solved. The Special Investigation Team of Meghalaya Police headed by city SP Stephan Rynjah has cracked the case of the MPSC petrol bomb attack with the mastermind of the attack GH Passah, a suspended Meghalaya Civil Service officer in its dragnet.

East Khasi Hills, SP Davis Marak informed Northeast Live that the mastermind of the attack was arrested late yesterday night at Lumdiengiri police station and has been produced in court. Without revealing the name of the main accused he informed that the accused is an MCS officer.

However, top sources informed Northeast Live that the main accused is GH Passah, a suspended MCS officer who was earlier working as Block Development Officer and was suspended in the suicide case of SI, PJ Marbaniang at Pathrkhama in Ri bhoi district after he was arrested for abetment and prevention of corruption case.

Sources also informed that the MPSC secretary WAM Booth office was targeted mainly as she is the wife of Former EKH SP Vivek Syiem who was heading the special investigation team in the Patharkhma case. They also revealed that Booth was conducting an enquiry into the sericulture department where Passah’s sister is involved.
