MPSC Exam Row: KSU stages sit-in-demonstration, burns copies of MPSC reply

The protest comes after the expiry of a 48-hour deadline which was served to the MPSC to issue a clarification on the alleged discrepancies.

The Khasi Students’ Union today staged a protest at the Meghalaya Public Service Commission premises against the Commission’s failure to address alleged irregularities in the recruitment of MCS, MPS and statistical officers in the Animal Husbandry & Veterinary department. The protest comes after the expiry of a 48-hour deadline which was served to the MPSC to issue a clarification on the alleged discrepancies. Chairman of the KSU Employment Monitoring Cell Reuben Najiar announced that the Union outrightly rejects the justifications given by the MPSC as he joined other leaders and members of the union in tearing and burning copies of the MPSC’s reply.
