And on the occasion of Holi, the traditional Fire Walking Festival was held in Manipur’s border town of Moreh.
This is the 55th edition of Fire Walking Festival which has been organised every year since 1967.
During the festival, which entered its 10th day today, as many as 100 Devotees walked on the fire offering their obeisance to Goddess Angala Parameshwari.

Before walking on fire, the devotees have to prick their bodies with Iron Rod and walk around 1Km on foot on the 15 feet long pit with burning coal.
Meanwhile, thousands including hundreds from Myanmar gathered to witness the festival celebrated Tamil community in Moreh.
