M’laya: HSPDP exudes confidence of winning Sohiong seat

Hill State People’s Democratic Party chief KP Pangniang today exuded confidence that the party will retain the Sohiong Assembly Constituency seat, despite their former MLA Samlin Malngiang deserting the party.

Hill State People’s Democratic Party chief KP Pangniang today exuded confidence that the party will retain the Sohiong Assembly Constituency seat, despite their former MLA Samlin Malngiang deserting the party. Pangniang informed that their candidate Sandondor Ryntathiang is on the ground working hard and preparing for the upcoming elections. It may be mentioned that the by-election to Sohiong assembly constituency in Meghalaya’s East Khasi Hills district will be held on May 10. The counting of votes will take place on May 13.
