Mizoram withdraws Covid mPass required to enter the state

In a significant development, Mizoram has withdrawn the requirement for mPASS Registrations which was mandatory for individuals entering the state as a measure for COVID-19.
In an order issued by Mizoram’s Disaster Management & Rehabilitation Department, the requirement for mPASS registrations in the website mcovid19.mizoram.gov.in for persons entering the State by road and flight has been withdrawn. The requirement for mandatory registration in the same website for vehicles carrying goods and commodities has also been withdrawn with immediate effect.
However, the requirement of Inner Line Pass or ILP for non-indigenous persons entering Mizoram except for exemptions shall continue to be in force.
Meanwhile, the Standard Operating Procedures issued by Disaster Management & Rehabilitation Department and Health & Family Welfare Department from time to time for persons entering the State shall continue to be followed at all entry points.
