A shocking CCTV video showing a man brutally assaulting a woman on a deserted road in Aizawl, Mizoram, has gone viral on social media. The video, which surfaced late Sunday evening, led to a public outcry and subsequent police action.

The accused, identified as 22-year-old C. Lalnunfela, surrendered himself at Kulikawn Police Station on Monday night after the video gained traction online.
