With Mizoram polling day coming to an end yesterday, election officers today brought a total of 101 EVMs to five Strong Rooms located across 8 districts of the state.
The final voting percentage was recorded at 81 per cent, a marginal dip from 2013 which was 83.14.
And over 50 percent of the close to 12,000 Bru voters exercised their franchise in yesterday’s polls.
Elections for the 7th Mizoram Legislative Assembly passed off peacefully without any untoward incident reported.
