Mizoram Cyclist Returns To Hero's Welcome After 286 Days Around India Tour Promoting Clean Air
Mizoram cyclist Vanlallawmzuala Varte returned home after a gap of 286 days after competing his mammoth All India Cycling Tour campaign across the country. Varte, known for his advocacy of clean air and sustainable lifestyles, returned to Durtlang in Aizawl yesterday, after traversing through 28 states and five union territories. A welcoming event, organised by the Mizoram Pollution Control Board under the supervision of member secretary C Lalduhawma, was held at MC Hall in Durtlang.
