Mizoram: Class 10 Results Declared, Pass Percentage At 76.68%

The Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) on Tuesday announced the results of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination 2025, recorded a pass percentage of 76.68%.

The second rank was shared by Isak MS Dawnglima of Government Mizo High School and Malsawmkima Chawngthu of CLS Academy and Ricky Lalnunfela from St. Joseph Higher Secondary School stood third.

Of the total percentage, the pass percentage of girls is 75.63 per cent, and it is 77.86 for boys.

Among the successful candidates, 1,343 achieved distinction, 3,763 secured first class, 5,785 received second class, and 3,636 were placed in third class.

Aizawl District recorded the highest pass percentage among regular candidates, with 86.09%, while Lawngtlai District had the lowest at 56.19%.

Notably, a total of 18,946 candidates appeared for the exam. There were 130 exam centres across 713 schools. In total, 19,303 candidates had registered, of which 18,946 appeared, and 14,572 students passed the exam.

The examination papers consisted of 60% Lower Order Thinking Skills (LOTS), which included normal and easy questions, and 40% Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), which focused on application- and reasoning-based questions.
