Mizoram CADC polls: BJP candidate killed in pre-poll violence

Former chief executive member (CEM) and BJP candidate for the coming Chakma Autonomous District Council (CADC) Amit Kumar Chakma was killed in pre-poll violence on Thursday night

A.K. Chakma who was to contest from Rengkashya constituency was killed during a clash between supporters of the BJP and the Mizo National Front (MNF) at Lokhysury village. Several other people were injured in the clash, police said.
