Reports of fresh tension have come in from the Assam-Mizoram border. As per reports, two armed men from Mizoram’s side entered the Dholaikhal village inside Assam’s territory yesterday.
Reportedly, the two men started taking photos and videos in the village. When locals questioned them, an argument followed, after which the two went back into the Mizoram side.

However, after some time, reportedly, a group of Mizoram Police personnel allegedly barged inside the village and entered the house of one person.
This caused panic among the villagers. Soon, a team of Assam Police reached the spot, but reportedly, the team of Mizoram Police left the place quickly without facing them. Northeast Live is awaiting a reaction from Assam Police on this matter.
