One more positive COVID-19 case has been detected in Meghalaya on Monday, taking the state’s tally to 15.
The patient had a travel history from Chennai with the 14th patient who had been found positive for the virus.
Chief Minister Conrad Sangma taking to Twitter wrote, “Another person who had travelled from Chennai along with the 14th case has turned out to be COVID19 positive. The person was in isolation since the day of arrival. Person is presently in Resubelpara under institutional isolation and medical observation.”
He further added, “For further clarity, the last two cases have come from Erode District of Tamil Nadu and they were in the same institute there.”
Meghalaya has so far registered 15 COVID-19 cases, with 2 active cases, 12 cured and one deceased.
