Meghalaya Minister Paul Lyngdoh Concerned Over Lack of Progress in Border Talks with Assam

Meghalaya cabinet minister and Chairman of the Regional Committee for West Khasi Hills Paul Lyngdoh, highlighted concerns over the lack of progress in the ongoing interstate border discussions with Assam. Despite efforts to address the issue at multiple levels, including communication between the Deputy Commissioners of West Khasi Hills and Kamrup Districts, as well as direct engagement with Chandra Mohan Patowary, Chairman of the Regional Committee for Kamrup (Rural), the response from Assam has been described as less than encouraging.
