Meghalaya Minister AL Hek says railway project important for state

Meghalaya Minister AL Hek has welcomed the railway project and asserted that connectivity is crucial for the development of the state.
Speaking to Northeast Live, Hek said there is no reason why Meghalaya should lag behind when it comes to connectivity, when other states of the region are making considerable progress in the sector.
