Meghalaya: JSU Demand’s to Declare Jowai as Summer Capital, Rajya Sabha MP WR Kharlukhi Extends Support
The demand to declare Jowai as the summer capital of Meghalaya has gained significant momentum, with Rajya Sabha MP WR Kharlukhi extending strong support to the proposal raised by the Jaintia Students Union. Kharlukhi who was also a JSU member aligned himself with the sentiment and maintained that Jaintia Hills deserves greater administrative importance.
