Border issue: Meet of WKH Regional Comm on Oct 14

The West Khasi Hills Regional Committee on interstate boundary issue with Assam is likely to make key decision in it's meeting.

Meghalaya’s West Khasi Hills Regional Committee on interstate boundary issue with Assam will be meeting for the first time on October 14. The meeting is a part of the second phase of the initiative taken by both the state governments to clear the hurdles.

Informing this, cabinet Minister and Chairperson of the West Khasi Hills Regional Committee, Renikton Lyngdoh Tongkhar informed that the meeting will be held in Nongstoin and will be attended by all the traditional heads of the area.

Tongkhar added that every aspect would be taken into consideration before coming into any conclusion.
