Meghalaya DTO in Assam police net in fake document scam

The Assam Police have arrested the DTO of Meghalaya's East Garo Hills district in connection with an alleged scam related to fake vehicle documentation.
The DTO was picked up after police, during a check, recovered 4-5 fake RCs from a vehicle. Goalpara SP Rakesh Reddy informed that upon interrogation, the driver of the vehicle said that the documents were procured with help from the Willaimnagar DTO.
