Meghalaya: CoMSO Revived by Seven Pressure Groups to Push for ILP, MRSSA, and Sixth Schedule Amendment

The Confederation of Meghalaya Social Organisations or CoMSO is being revived by seven pressure groups to push for the implementation of the Inner Line Permit and the Meghalaya Residents Safety and Security Act, while also advocating for amendments to the Presidential Scheduled Tribes Order of 1950. Additionally, CoMSO is demanding the passing of the 125th Amendment to the Sixth Schedule, which remains pending with the central government.
